Dear Yoga Teacher,
Congratulations! Finally, you have decided you want to teach yoga online.
You have so many ideas rolling around in your mind. There is no shortage of ideas, right?
But we all understand ideas are worthless without execution.
So where do you start?
The good news is you don’t need to start from the start.
Yes, you heard it right!
You are already teaching in classes, collaborative workshops, Facebook or Instagram live or might have conducted retreats in the past.
There is a lot of material available with you already! Think of how can you re-purpose it?
Then decide a theme and add a structure to create a membership-based program of few weeks (broken down into multi-day sessions) or launch a workshop of a few days to as your first online offering.
Ask your students what they want.
You don’t need to tax your brain to create your first offering. Your students are already telling you what they want to learn from you.
Yoga practices to ease corona fear or boost their immunity, breathing and meditation techniques that calm your emotional state, beyond flexibility, balance and strength yoga asanas, yoga to help quieten mental chatter and deepen spiritual awareness – or maybe a holistic yoga lifestyle program covering – pranayama, asana practice, meditation and nutrition advice.
With changing times, the needs of people are changing.
The world needs more yoga teachers now more than ever.
It is important you show up for your students.
Host a webinar
This isn’t new to you anymore. You’ve been doing many webinars lately.
Offer a free webinar that teases your offering, and then nudge your audience towards a private consultation or a paid program.
The webinar itself can be at a high-level, crisp, and informative. Yet fun and engaging.
Show your attendees the value they would derive from purchasing your in-depth yoga workshop or program.
Make this an opportunity for the audiences to interact and ask you questions.
It is important they connect with your voice, style, and passion. If they can form a connect with you through this webinar, half your battle is won.
A webinar is an interesting opportunity for you to listen to your audience and understand what they are looking for.
The webinar strategy works for just about everyone, though it may require some extra prep and content-creation on your part.
Ready to get started with your brand-new online offering?
Remember, there are no excuses.
Namaste!
